Moving Through Easter

The journey through Easter is one of movement. It began with a stone being moved from the entrance to the tomb. The women moved from the tomb to the room where the disciples had holed up in fear. The disciples moved on the road to Emmaus and off to wait for the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

The early church sought ways to daily live and remember the power of Jesus ministry and resurrection. As Easter people moving with The Risen On into Easter, may we as the church be inspired and devoted to prayer, fellowship, breaking bread, sharing with one another, and learning more about “The Way.”

As we encounter the Risen One, this Easter the call is clear, “Christ is risen! The Lord is risen, indeed,” through our words and our actions as witnesses to the power of God’s love.

What is God asking of you this Easter?
